You’ve got a photoshoot coming up and a team that’s told you they are available. So how do you get everyone on the same page and scheduled? In the past, we would have created an email chain where all of the documents would have ended up getting buried and possibly not even read — but the future is now my fellow button pushers!

Using Proreel, we can now centralize everything in one place making sure you and your team are on the same page. Everything from the call time, to the mood board, and now even chat can all be done in Proreel, eliminating all possibility of confusion.

Lets see how we can do this in just a few minutes:

1. Install Proreel (It's free -- Yes FREE)

First things first: In order to use Proreel you’ve gotta get it installed on your phone. It's mobile, just like you.

iPhone user? Click Here.

Android user? Click here.

2. Create a Project

Now that you’re all set up with Proreel you’ll find a + button at the top right of your screen. This will open the edit workspace screen. Here you add a title, the date, call time, and location. Press ‘Create’ and you’re done. Its that simple.

Pro Tip: Add links to your mood board in the notes section to give your team even more clarity.

3. Invite your team

Next, tap on the participants screen in the middle along the top of your screen. When there you will see an ‘Invite Participants’ button at the bottom. Click on that and invite your models, hair and make up team, assistants, your dog or whoever else needs access to the shoot info.

4. Chat

To the right of the participants section is a chat section where you can chat with your entire team in real time. This is a great place for your team to ask any questions you have not clarified. This is also a great place to get your team excited. An excited and informed team is going to give you the results you are looking for.

Pro Tip: Every time someone asks a questions be sure to also add the answer to that question in the notes section in case someone else has that same question in the future.

5. You need to make a change

Good. Make changes. Its why Proreel was built. To make a change tap on the ‘…’ button at the top right of your screen the select ‘Edit’. This will allow you to change any info about the shoot and best of all? Everyone that you have invited to the photoshoot will be notified with a push notification immediately.

And just like that, in minutes, you have organized a photoshoot where everyone has all of the most recent information readily available. Now that’s efficiency.
